Cant Classifier

Consistent Cant Grading

  • Artificial Intelligence cant grading system
  • More consistent and accurate than operator grading
  • Adjustable parameters allow users to tune the grading system without retraining the AI model
  • Easy calibration for camera or lighting changes

Simple Installation

  • Power over Ethernet camera only requires a single cable run from the computer to the camera
  • Two 24" light bars utilize lenses that focus the light into the camera's field of view to better control the lighting environment
  • System operates on its own dedicated computer

Custom Machine Learning Models

  • Acquires images of 12" sections of the cant
  • An AI model grades each section of the cant
  • Combines the classification data from all sections
  • A second AI model grades the cant as a whole

Example - High Grade Cant

  • The green lines to the left of the segment images signify that all individual segments were classified as high grade
  • The overall cant was classified as high grade with a confidence of 99.72 percent

Example - Low Grade Cant

  • The red, yellow, and green lines to the left of the segment images signify that some segments were classified as low, medium, and high grade
  • The overall cant was classified as low grade with a confidence of 71.36 percent
